Photogrammetry

Some places aren’t easy to map by ground. And sometimes a map is needed very quickly. That’s when a photogrammetrist is hired.

A photogrammetrist takes aerial photos to create detailed 3D maps. These maps show existing structures, topography and vegetation. For example, a photogrammetrist can track the movement of an oil spill to anticipate its impact on a coastal community.
